Introduction
Underseerr ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy
explains
how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile
application Underseerr (the "App"), which serves as a client for Overseerr, Jellyseerr, or
complementary media request management software (collectively referred to as "Seerr").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use
of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Seerr Server URL: The address of your self-hosted or third-party
Seerr instance that you connect to (e.g., Overseerr or Jellyseerr).
- Authentication Credentials: Your Seerr API key or login credentials to
authenticate with your Seerr server.
- User Preferences: Your in-app preferences such as theme settings,
notification preferences, and display options.
- Serial Keys: If you choose to unlock premium features via a serial key, we
collect and store the key you provide to validate your access.
- Watchlist Data: If you use the Watchlist synchronization feature, the app
accesses your Plex or Jellyseerr watchlist. We do not store this list on our servers; it is
cached locally on your device or fetched directly from your provider.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device
identifiers, and mobile network information for crash reporting and analytics.
- Usage Data: App usage statistics, feature usage patterns, and interaction
data to improve the App experience.
- Crash Reports: Technical information about crashes and errors to help us
identify and fix bugs.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect
device tokens. For Premium users, these are used by our hosted relay to
deliver messages. For self-hosted users, tokens are sent directly to your configured
Cloudflare Worker.
- Subscription Information: We collect anonymized purchase tokens and
subscription status from Google Play to validate Premium access.
